CONCEPT — WIDEN THE FRAME

« Following a call for tender in November 2019, we chose Motion Palace and director Neels Castillon to renew the France 5 Idents, the existing ones being on air since 2011. This new identity approach, devised with a more humane dimension, starts with a close-up on a glance, then the frame widens to reveal the off-screen and embrace a fascinating world. Three shot types form this interstitial sequences, a minimalist graphic mechanic which intend to celebrate awe with elegance. Led by a few musical notes subtly orchestrated, these 75 original creations by Neels Castillon follow a common opening movement, creating a positive breath that allows the spectator to step back and gain height. They will punctuate days and nights of France 5 viewers from January, 4th, 2021. »
